Milano Sanremo is the first classic of the cycle racing season. Traditionally held on the third Saturday of March, it is also know as The Spring Classic or ‘La Primavera’. At 298km it is the longest one-day race on the professional calendar, and considered to be one of cycling’s five ‘Monuments’.
