The Kinetic Collection.
Classic automobiles in motion and colour.

Series 2 of the Kinetic Collection is dedicated to the first four decades of the Formula 1 World Championship.

The Alfa Romeo 158, know as the Alfetta (Little Alfa), made its debut in 1938. When international motor sport resumed following World War II the Alfetta remained highly competitive. Further development was undertaken to prepare the car for the inaugural Formula 1 World Championship in 1950. Remarkably the ageing 158 claimed victory in every race it contested and took the title.

Re-engineered for the ’51 season the ‘159’ repeated the feat. The Alfetta’s record of 47 victories from 54 Grand Prix entered makes it one of the most successful cars in the history of motor racing.
